Got a bit overambitious with a cut at a railroad crossing about 0.8 miles into the stage and ended up puncturing the right rear. It made corners, especially lefts, rather interesting but we stayed hammer down, even when we started hearing the tire shredding apart and pummeling the body around the 3.25 mile mark. Managed to finish fourth fastest 2WD, ten seconds off the fastest time. All while blasting Initial D Eurobeat from a Bluetooth speaker zip tied to the grille.
Car is a 1990 VW GTI, stock aside from suspension.
